Some other things you may like to know!

Where did the name "blue elephant photography" come from?

Actually, there is no complex story behind the name. Photography is one of our favourite things to do. So, it seemed appropriate to name it in the company of Kristine's favourite colour and animal. We wanted something that is fun and memorable.

How many photos will I get?

We don't believe in withholding beautiful photos from our clients simply because they aren't included in a "package". Instead, we prefer to photograph for a specified length of time and we will process and give you every great photo :) We do guarantee a number of photos that you will receive prior to the session. This is merely a minimum number to give you an idea of what you can expect but you will receive more. Also, we keep our prints as affordable as possible and try not to rush you into ordering prints. However, we can only guarantee that your photos will be on file for one year.

When will we see our photos?

Within a day or two of the shoot (we will let you know), we will post a quick "Sneak Peek" on our blog with a few photos from the day. Then in two weeks, we will blog about your story posting some of our favourite photos and there will also be a slideshow in the gallery. For engagements, at this time all your photos are ready. For weddings, the rest of your photos will be ready in another 2 weeks (4 weeks from your wedding day).

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes! We accept credit cards using Paypal but you don't need a Paypal account. All prints purchased through our website are checked out through Paypal. For any other fees we can send you an online invoice (don't worry, it's easy). Otherwise, checks are always fine.

Is there a client login?

Yes, they are on the event pages! An event page is created for all sessions. You can find your event hanging from the clothesline in the gallery. Once you navigate to your event page there is a "client proofing" link in the bottom right corner. This link will be available for at least one year following your event.
