Yay it’s finally Friday and Christmas Eve Eve to boot! (Hey, holiday anticipation is totally celebration worthy, LOL) It’s the best feeling to be surrounded by family and friends. So I hope all of you are with those you love and care about. Talking about love and caring, I have a fabulous airplane engagement shoot to share, yay again! The idea of making our way to the local Airport and some photos around the University campus sounded pretty good. Brrrr…it was pretty {very} chilly on this sunny Saturday afternoon. I’m so glad Chris and Kristena brought some sun of their own (and some hand warmers too, LOL). Awww, they’re so sweet! ♥

We have always wanted to do an airplane engagement. When we found out that Chris was in the Air Force, wheels started spinning. Trying to keep it closer to home, we totally lucked out when we were able to get some help from the wonderful folks over at Hanger 1 Flight Center here in Stillwater.

Kristena has a gorgeous face! She looks pretty even when she’s not smiling. And her ring is just as beautiful and sparkly!

Chris and Kristena were engaged on the 5th of November and if you remember I told you in the sneak peek they shared a really fun and creative proposal story with us. Kristena had told Chris that if she ever got engaged she would want her family involved. Always keeping Kristena’s happiness in mind, Chris proposed through a scavenger hunt with Kristena’s family helping out! Everyone knew what was in store for that day except clueless Kristena who just thought they were all just having a fun weekend.

Kristena with family in tow followed clues which involved a baseball (Kristena loves baseball!) and four wheelers and finally…a dog house. Let me give a little background on this last clue. Chris has been wanting a dog and everytime he brings it up Kristena replies that they can talk about it after they get engaged. So, at the end of the scavenger hunt Kristena found a dog house with a sign that read “Can we have a puppy now?” When she turned around she found Chris down on one knee! How cute is that?! He’s definitely a keeper! :)

Kristena couldn’t stop laughing! As you can see, Chris was too big for this little airplane LOL ;)

As always don’t forget to visit their Event Page for more of their fun e-session photos! I wish you all the best this Holiday Season! Have fun and enjoy your break! ♥

Happiest Monday friends! It’s sneak peek time! Meet Chris & Kristena. They just got engaged about a month ago and I can’t wait to tell you next time about their fun & creative proposal story. Anyway, the first photo was taken at the university and the rest were at the airport.

I think the best word to describe our anticipation for this past weekend’s photoshoot was: Giddy! I love airplanes and anything that involves it makes me so happy. Chris is a pilot in the Air Force and when we found out they wanted some photos around airplanes, well, I was jumping up and down. Are you ready? Here’s a quick peek!

When Chris showed up in his dress blues and Kristena in her vintage dress we just about died and went to heaven. ♥ ♥ ♥

Aren’t they so cute!? Make sure to check back in two weeks to hear about Chris’ fun and creative proposal! Have a good one!

Happy Friday everyone! And Oh boy! do I have the cutest engagement to share with all you friends. Not only are Patrick and Ally so sweet but they have such a romantic engagement story with a beach and sunrise and…I’m getting ahead myself already!

Okay, so this past July these two college sweethearts took a trip to Mexico with Ally’s parents to a beautiful beach resort. Patrick planned from the beginning, in cahoots with Ally’s parents, that this trip would be the perfect moment to pop the question. One morning they walked the newly combed beach enjoying the clean sea air. When Patrick saw the name of the resort written 100 yards long in the sand he knew at that instant that his engagement had to be big too! When he got a chance to quickly sneak away he sought the help of some hotel staffers.

The next morning, bright and early, Patrick got a phone call and told Ally that they needed to head over to her parent’s room. This was partly because their window faced “the right” part of the beach and partly because that’s where he was hiding the ring. All the while Ally was so confused how her parents who typically sleep in could be up so early. She just thought Patrick must have a special spa day planned or something. So off they went.

Ally, still waking up and deciding to play along with whatever Patrick was cooking up! She boldy waltzed into the room and flung open the window in the most dramatic fashion to find…written in the sand big enough for the whole world to see below with the majesty of the rising sun the words “Will You Marry Me?”. Yup a 100 yards long, big, and bold! Shocked, she turned around to find her love kneeling on one knee ♥ She said YES of course! My goodness, who could say no!?

And don’t forget to to visit their Event Page for more of their fun e-session photos! Enjoy your weekend and stay warm!

Oh my, we have been going crazy over here waiting to post the sneak peek of this e-session! It didn’t all come together until the last minute but when it did we knew it was perfect for Patrick and Ally. It definitely helps that this couple is fun, happy, and oh so in love! ♥ We all wanted to take advantage of what is most likely the last weekend of fall leaves. And from our experience on Sunday I would also guess the last warm day.

And hey even their adorable dog Harley joined in the fun for a bit. Ahhh love that beautiful sunshine on them! ♥

Patrick is in the Air Force and we took some quick photos at the Air Base. So sweeeet!

I can’t seem to get enough of these two! We had so much fun running around Enid for this shoot. Make sure to check back in two weeks to hear their love story, it is absolutely beautiful! Happy Hump Day y’all! ;)
