Babies ~ Charlie & Maddie

Happy Monday Everyone! I know everyone here in the States is looking forward to family and friends coming together this weekend for Thanksgiving. So, I have a great way to start out the week – with this sweet family and their adorable daughters Charlie and Maddie! This family is special to us because they’ve been with us pretty much since our beginning and we’ve been watching them pretty much from their beginning too. ♥ It’s surreal thinking back to when we captured them in this very same place when they were only 7 months. Then we caught up with them again at their first birthday. And now look at them – they’re running around!

These two found this bridge that is just their size. I think they could have played all day…perfecting the best way to climb up and slide off. :)

Maddie would pull out the plant signs and their dad Jeremy, would promptly put it back. Then Maddie would pull it out again and hand it to Jeremy. Charlie & Maddie are always a blast to play with. They would pick up twigs and stones off the ground and either present them as a gift or boldly declare it “Yuck!” Scott and I have been saying the same to each other since that day. LOL ;)

The botanical gardens is always a hit with kids – looks like Charlie is even doing a happy dance.

As the evening drew on and the sunlight began to fade we headed over to the trees to enjoy the fall season and children’s laughter.

Charlie is so sweet! She was even in the mood to give her Mom Katie and twin sister Maddie hugs. *Huuuuugs* ♥

Awww, I miss these two already just looking through the photos. I hope we’ll be sharing more of their adventures in the future. Until then make sure to check out the slideshow on their Event Page and have a great week!

Sneak Peek: Babies ~ Charlie & Maddie

Happy Wednesday friends and guess what?! I have a second sneak peek to share this week! We were able to fit in two shoots last weekend and this one has some real cuties ♥ You may remember these two from last fall and also their 1st birthday party in the park. It was so much fun catching up with them again…and boy are they getting big! Here’s Charlie before she ran away :) She’s pretty shy.

The sunshine was so pretty! And these two were having so much fun going up and down the bridge. Maybe because it’s just their size. I heard them giggle as they tried to climb, crawl, and run.

And here’s Maddie running around, giggling, and having fun! I love her cute leg warmers! I wonder if they come in my size. ♥

This casual Sunday afternoon was so enjoyable and pleasant, the chilly winds and earthquakes of the day before were quickly forgotten.

Well folks, Happy Wednesday and make sure to check back in two weeks for more of this fun shoot. So ta ta for now. ;)

Baby ~ Lucy

Happiest Friday my friends! I am so ready for the weekend! So here is something happy to start your weekend off, meet Lucy ♥

This adorable little one was very fun to shoot. Emi and Jake were very nice to welcome us into their home. We stayed warm inside since it was raining cats and dogs outside. Lucy was wearing her yukata when we got there, isn’t it the cutest little outfit!? Emi and Jake slipped into their yukata too, awww they were so cuuuuuute! ♥

We played with her for awhile and I was glad she was in a good mood. She even showed us some skills…yes, like throw-your-legs-in-the-air skills ;) Well, she was actually getting sleepy :) But it took her awhile before she finally decided to nap. She played around a little bit more in front of the mirror. She was so happy looking at somebody smiling back – herself!

She finally dozed off but it wasn’t too long that she was up again…Awake and happy as she can be! I love these next two shots! Emi and Jake were kissing her, then she wiped the kiss of her cheek, LOL, silly girl ;)

The rain finally stopped. Yay! And off Lucy went playing in the backyard. She had so much fun riding her swing. Emi told me that sometimes Lucy would slowly start nodding then dozing off in the swing. I can’t blame her!

Well, I hope she made you smile ;) Check out her Event Page for more photos. Take care and have a fun weekend!

Sneak Peek: Baby ~ Lucy

I was so happy to finally meet this adorable little one. Sweet little Lucy. ♥ She’s pretty friendly, hardly cried, and loved being carried around. So here she is sound asleep. I think she had a long day.

She played with us a little bit. Check out her cute Yukata. She looks like a doll! ♥

Oh what a beautiful family! Emi, Baby Lucy, and Jake ♥ Lucy is part Japanese, Korean, and American mix. I can’t wait to share more photos of this angel in two weeks. Well friends, I hope Lucy’s cuteness help shake those Monday blues away. Have a happy Monday!

Baby ~ Henry

Finally, the photos of sweet baby Henry at 7 weeks…David and Kelli’s little angel with pretty baby blues and a beautiful smile ♥ Congratulations D & K, your baby boy is perfectly adorable! This little one was born at home! He even has a cute onesie to prove it. ;) Check out that photo on the mosaic, right side-middle one, he looks like he is about to go under water or perhaps a dance move he is learning! Well, enough rambling, I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves :)

He was a squirmy little boy just like the others :) But he enjoyed looking at us taking his photos then later decided he was hungry and sleepy. He’s even so handsome and happy when he sleeps!

He took just a quick nap and woke up again. I love his “let-me-think” gesture here. And yes he was awake and happy ;)

Don’t worry, there’s more photos! :) Head over to his Event Page to watch more of this little angel’s slideshow to the sweet voice of Priscilla Ahn. ♥

Sneak Peek: Family ~ The Davises

If you’ve been keeping up, last weekend we headed out to take some sweet photos of Baby Henry. Well, yesterday we revisited to get some snapshots of some good ol’ backyard fun! It was an ice cream party! Henry, along with his older brother’s Ben and Drew all joined in on the fun. Here’s a few shots we took yesterday and more Baby Henry photos are soon to follow this week :)

Ben and his big brother, Drew, surely do love all the toppings! Then a lot of play time followed afterwards. Even including baby Henry, who loved the swing ride.

What a beautiful and sweet family! Happy Monday! ;)

Sneak Peak: Baby ~ Henry

As I was preparing to head over to 7-week old Baby Henry’s house for a Sunday afternoon photo shoot, I found out about an air conditioning malfunction that may ruin his day! Not a good sign with weather topping 100 degrees every day. I was looking forward to seeing this little angel all week. So we pressed on and luckily everything was fixed in time for his debut! Every time he looked up into my camera I couldn’t help but giggle and smile right back and I bet you’ll get the same feeling too. Isn’t he so adorable?!

Yep, this little one is proud to be born at home! ♥ I hope Henry’s smile will shake those Monday blues away ;) Have a wonderful Monday!

Event ~ Charlie & Maddie Turns 1

Babies, they grow up too fast! Scott and I attended Charlie and Maddie’s birthday party last Saturday and enjoyed every bit of it. It was just the break we needed after working on client photos. If you don’t remember who these little cuties are, I photographed them when they were still 7 months old. And I haven’t seen these twins for awhile but boy they’ve really grown up but they are still as adorable as before. Awww, I love their outfits a lot!

I’m not sure if they figured out that it was their birthday but they seemed to have enjoyed the park with their friends. The food was great! Tabouli, hummus, chips, and a vegetable plate…Yum! And we had some vegan cupcakes too which their mom, Katie, baked herself. I’ve never had one before and believe me they were so delicious!

I can’t wait to see Charlie and Maddie all grown up. It has been trully very special for Scott and I to see them learn and grow every day and we are so grateful to be part of their lives. Visit the slide show on the event page to see more photos from the party!

Kids ~ Darian, Brayden, and Ryker

I had so much fun taking photos of Baby Ryker last month and as you can see from his photos, he is absolutely adorable. So, you can imagine how excited I was to have the cuteness triple when his two cousins came up to visit. I was so excited to capture the three of them enjoying a perfect spring day in the local parks here in town. As soon as we got to the pond Brayden couldn’t wait to climb the trees! And I could immediately see how Darian and Brayden’s gymnastic classes have paid off as they balanced on the up-grown roots with ease. Brayden also loves soccer and hopes to play football in a year or two. Darian uses the gymnastics to improve her dance classes that includes ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. These two definitely stay active and it was fun trying to keep up with them to capture the action! After feeding the ducks at the pond, we were off to the park. As mentioned in the Sneak Peek, the trip to the playground has some special significance. When Razonia was still pregnant with Ryker, she would drive past this park often, and describe the park to him and how fun it will be when he is old enough to play on the slides and swing set. This was Ryker’s first trip of many to the park and what better way could it have been spent than with his cousins :)

I love Ryker’s reaction here. I felt like he was making a funny face.

Isn’t Darian so pretty!?

Baby Ryker loves to nap. Anywhere.

Brayden, showing off his gymnastic moves.

Yes, they are making some funny faces. I enjoyed every bit of it!

They both are very sweet!

Doesn’t it look like so much fun!?! And they all have awesome smiles ;) Check out more photos of these adorable kids at my Gallery. I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

Tummy Rumbles: Little Squigglers

We do love weddings but yes we love babies too! So off we went to the Little Squigglers Diaper Swap event and we had so much fun. We met lots of undeniably cute little kiddos with their super cool moms and dads too!

Little Squigglers is a family run business started by a friendly local mom named Andrea Peters. Besides spending time with her daughter she loves spreading the good news of cloth diapering and safe non-toxic baby products. She is totally hooked on green alternative baby products and her goal is to open up a store/classroom/playroom here in Stillwater, OK someday soon! Until then you can purchase these baby products through her Little Squigglers website or catch her on her travels to local groups and homes. Luckily, we were able to stop by last Saturday at one of Andrea’s famous Diaper Swap events to meet fellow cloth diaper enthusiasts (a.k.a Stillwater mothers) and their sweet and well loved babies. Basically, the event allowed local moms to come and have the option of selling, swapping, and buying new and gently used cloth diapers & accessories. Plus, this year Andrea started it off with a cloth diaper basics & more class. I can’t thank Andrea enough for letting us hang out a bit and take some photos of the cutest kids in Stillwater ;) I hope you get big smiles from these little ones.

Do you remember these sweet twins Charlie and Maddie? I took photos of them late November of last year…I feel like they are growing up so so fast ♥

It’s no coincidence that you’ve seen some of these cuties before. It was a great opportunity for us to say hi to some little ones from past photo sessions that we’ve missed ♥ If you’re in the area and interested in one of these events be sure to follow Little Squigglers on Facebook and say hi to Andrea.
