Oh my gosh, so many things to be excited about this morning. I feel like I’m about to burst! First of all, it’s Friday! Yes, that deserves some celebration on it’s own. Second, we just launched our new branding and website this morning, yay! Don’t worry, we’re still good ol’ Blue Elephant Photography. We just needed to freshen things up around here. And the most exciting announcement of all is that we get to share Patrick & Bridgette’s gorgeous wedding that we photographed down in Richmond, TX just outside of Houston. Yay! The day started off at The Refinery for a timeless hairstyle from Mallory and a fun beauty session at Sephora.
Patrick & Bridgette had family coming from all over the States and Canada and they wanted to make sure they give them a big proper Texas welcome. So the ceremony and reception were held in the spectacular Briscoe Manor.
I just adore all the lace and beading on Bridgette’s Oleg Cassini dress along with the perfect choice of classic Swarovski crystal earrings. And her blush sash perfectly matched her Vera Wang shoes. So cute! And to keep her parents close to her heart throughout this special day, Bridgette sewed a piece of her mother’s wedding gown and a piece from one of her dad’s shirts. So sweet! And a touching way to incorporate something old and something blue.
Bridgette is so gorgeous! Just Wow! Patrick looked dapper himself too. They just looked so perfect together and I bet they’ll make beautiful babies! She had the most beautiful line-up of bridesmaids and the groomsmen were quite a hilarious bunch!
As everyone entered the Manor through the giant wooden doors, they were greeted by tables of fun rustic details set amongst their photos. And you could hear the serenade of the Third Floor Strings further along in the Chapel.
Love Love Love! ♥ That’s all I can see in their eyes that day. Oh did I mention it was quite windy that day!? I took so many shots of Bridgette with her veil coming to life. Like this one! I thought it was going to pull her hair out.
There was a lot of dancing, a lot of hugging, and a lot of tex-mex food by Behind the Bash! Oh and I can’t forget all the deliciously flavoured cupcakes and a very cool groom’s cake from Edible Designs by Jessie! Oh and the cake topper was so neat! And yes, everyone did have fun all throughout the night.
Congrats Patrick & Bridgette! We’re so glad that you chose us to capture your special day and celebrate your wedding with you. We had such a fun time exploring Sugarland, TX with all it’s fabulous shops and restaurants. And it was wonderful meeting you and your families. Make sure to stop by their Client Site and check out the slideshow for more photos. Have an awesome weekend!
