A Spiky Project Part 1
Let me tell you that today has been a pretty rough day! Work was just way too busy – I’m talking about my 8-to-5 day job. But gladly when I got off work Scott was being spontaneous and asked me if we could go shopping in Edmond, which is about 45 minutes from where we live. I was of course delighted and said Yes! Off we went and he started telling me all the places he wanted to visit which were pretty much all the furniture and home furnishing stores. Hmmmp not what I had in mind but I thought it would be a good break anyway. After several ins and outs, our car was filled with a daybed, a couple of toss pillows, a vintage-designed shower curtain, and some hard-to-find wines. Well I guess he was kinda getting tired of seeing the house too empty and was really wanting to make it a little bit more cozier.
Since it seemed like a home decorating trip, I asked him to stop by Lowe’s for me coz I was on the hunt for these deserty plants. Yes, plants! I’ve always wanted to make my own terrarium and I spied all these cute plants at the garden center before. Luckily we found some and what’s even more awesome is that they were all on clearance, woohoo! All of them for $7 bucks! What a steal! This will be one of the house projects that I will be working on and I can’t wait to get this all out and planted all nicely together! We got pricked by these spiky cacti awhile ago, it kinda stings. ;) I hope you guys have a good weekend!
